Friday, Nov. 22-Friday, Nov.29

*Update* A note about Chanukah Carnival:
I sent home  a stapled packet of classwork papers and the front page is a blue notice about Chanukah Carnival.
The carnival is on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Students may purchase tickets on Tuesday Dec. 3 or on Wednesday. The carnival will be held after 12pm on Wednesday and classes will attend on a rotating schedule. If you send money to school with your child, please place it in a sealed envelope or in a ziplock baggie and have your child's name written on it.

I am not sending any homework home this week. I do encourage students to read and complete their reading logs. Also, students can practice math facts--all basic addition & subtraction as well as multiplication facts x0,x1.

Wednesday, 11/27:
Thanksgiving show - 9:30
2:00 dismissal

Homework will resume the week after we return from Thanksgiving break. I will make adjustments to the reading logs and add grammar to the weekly assignments. I will also include a suggested daily assignment schedule.

I did send home some extra practice and review for you to complete at home. Should you need more, just email me to let me know.  I plan to keep a schedule of adding basic skills packets every 2 weeks for your benefit. Please note this is only to support student learning. I do not expect the work to be completed in one week or even to be returned to me.

Enjoy your Chanukah and Thanksgiving break!
