Thursday 3/20-Thursday 4/4

I am NOT assigning any homework over break. This is your time to enjoy your family and celebrate together.

That said, I do encourage your child to read (read! read!) & practice math addition, subtraction, multiplication & division facts/fact families.

I am also sending home a math basic skills review packet that your child may work on to keep up on math skills. This is NOT homework and I don't expect to grade it, assess it, or use it towards your child's math grade. I also do not expect that your child work on it over break. You may choose to have him or her work on it in April.  It can only help your child to practice basic skills. I will have an answer key at school and at any time your child chooses to complete the packet,  he or she may use the key to check answers and make corrections as needed.

I hope that you all enjoy your break. The kids have been working diligently and deserve this long "brain break" as we call them in class!
